A car is travelling with a speed of 36 km/h. The driver applies brakes and retardes the car uniformly. The car stopped in 5 secs.Find the retardation of the car and distance travelled before and after applying the brakes.​

retardation is negative acceleration so a=v-u/t. and distance=2aS=v square-u square

The distance covered before applying brakes can't be found as the data is inadequate.
