A car is travelling with a speed of 36km/h.the driver applied the breakers and retards the car uniformly. The car is stopped in 5sec.find (I)the acceleration of the car and (ii)distance before it stops after applying brakes?

acceleration= ?

so donot worry there is formula for acceleration

a=v-u/t

1.)acceleration= 36-0/5

acceleration= 36/5

acceleration= 7.2m/s^2

2.) distance be denoted by. (s)

so we have one formula it is

s=ut+1/2at^2

s= o×5+1/2×7.2×5^2

s= 1/2 ×7.2×25

s= 90m

hence distance = 90 metres
