Answer :

The car takes 2 hours to reach a destination by travelling at 60 km/hr

In this problem first we have to find out the distance

We know Speed = distance / time

Distance = speed × time

Speed = 60 kilometre per hour

Distance = to find out

Time = 2 hours

Therefore Distance = 60 km per hour × 2 hours

Distance = 120 kilometre

How long will it take while travelling at 80 km/hr?

Time = to find out

Distance = 120 kilometre

Speed = 80 kilometre per hour

Time = Distance / speed

Time = 120 km./ 80 kilometre per hour

Time = 1.5 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes

Answer the car will take 1.5 hours or 1 hour 30 minutes to trave at 80 kilometres per hour.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

If the car takes 1.5 hours to reach a destination at a speed of 80km/h .

Then the total distance covered is,

= 120 km.

If the car travels at a speed of 60km/h, then the time it will take to travel the distance is,

Time = Total distance/Speed.

Time = 120/60

Time = 2 hours
