starting 1.0hr later
arrives at their mutual destination at the same time. What was the average speed of the second
car for the peried that it was in motion?​

first car time =200/40=5hr

second car time = 5hr-1hr=4hr

avg speed of second car = 200km/4hr

=50km/hr

Speed = 40km/hr

Distance = 200km

Time taken = Distance/Speed

Time = 200/40 = 5hr

Second car

Since second car takes 1 hr lesser to travel 200km

Time taken = 4hr

Distance = 200km

Speed = Distance/Time

Speed = 200/4 = 50km/hr
