average speed=total distance/total time
here time is in minutes we have change it to seconds
..30min=30×60sec=1800sec
40mim=40×60sec=2400sec
distance is in km we have to change it into m
30km=30×1000m=30000m
30km=30×1000m=30000m
now,
average speed= totale distance /total time
=(30000+30000)/(1800+2400)
=60000/4200
=14.28m/s

heya.........
average speed = total distance/ total time
30 min= 30/60 hr = 1/2 hr
40 min= 40/60 hr = 2/3 hr
total time= 1/2+2/3= 7/6 hr
total distance= 30 km+ 30 km= 60 km
average speed= 60/7/6= 60*6/7= 360/7= 51.42 km/hr
