First car moves towards East 100km then turns back 25km i.e. 100-25= 75 from initial position to the final position and it covered 100 + 25= 125km is the total distance covered.

Hey there!
It's really easy one.
The shortest length covered by a body between final and initial position is called displacement.
∴ Displacement = 100-25
= 75 m
Total path length covered by a moving body is called distance.
∴ Distance = 100+ 25
= 125 m
Hope it helps you!
