Given In The Question :-
=> Car moves 100 m due East
=> Car moves 25 m due West
♦ DISTANCE travelled is the total path covered by object i.e Distance is = 100 + 25 => 125 m
♦ DISPLACEMENT is shortest path between initial and final point so the car first moves 100 East ( 100 i^ ) Forward and then 25 m West ( 25 -i^ ) Backward. So the Displacement will be => 100 - 25 = 75 m .
→ Distance covered => 125 m
→ Displacement => 75 m
