As the motion is uniform
So distance = speed × time= 40×1/2=20 km

speed of car= 40km/hr ,. 40×5/18m/s =11.11m/s
time= 30 min,. 30×60 s =1800
so , now
speed = distance /time...so
distance=speed ×time, now
distance= 11.11m/s×1800s =1111×18m =1999

Prem100: sorry ..it is 19998m
Physicsteacher: convert it to Km using significant figures
Prem100: ok ...19998/1000km= 19.998km
