A car moves at a constant speed of 60 kmh-1 for 1 km and 40 kmh-1 for next 1 km. What is the average speed of the car?​

For this question , the formula 2v1v2 / v1 + v2 will be used

v1 = 60 km/h

v2 = 40 km/h

By substituting the values ,

= 2×60×40 / 60 + 40

= 4800 / 100

= 48 km/h
