Average speed = total distance/ total time taken
V = s1 + s2/ t1 + t2
= s1 + s2/ s1/v1 + s2/v2
= 1 + 1/ 1/60 + 1/40
=2/100/2400
=2400 x 2/100
V=48
This is the average speed
