A car moves at a speed of 20 km per hour for 15 minutes and then at a speed of 60 km per hour for next 15 minutes calculate the total distance covered by the cars

distance=speed * time

therefore,initial distance covered = 20*15/60 =20/4=5km

and final distance = 60*15/60=15km

therefor, total distance=15km+5km= 20km
