A car moves from location A to location B with an acceleration of 8 m / s The movement from A to B lasts 10s The distance from A to B is 600 m
a. Calculate the speed in location A (the initial speed)
b. Calculate the speed in place B. From place B the car goes to place
C. From place B to place C takes 15 s The car comes to a halt in place C c. Calculate the delay from B to C

Given that :

a = 8 m/s2

t = 10 seconds

s = 600m

a)

to find the initial speed means speed at then location A we have to apply the second equation

s   = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

we put value

600 = 10 u + 8 X 50

600- 400 = 10 u

200 =10 u

u= 20 ms-1

b) from first equation we can calculate the v

v =u + at

v = 20 + 8 X 5

v = 60 ms-1

c) t 15 second
