Answer:

The velocity and displacement are 2 m/s and 4 m.

Explanation:

Given that,

Acceleration a = 2\ m/s^2

Time t = 2\ sec

The distance of the car is

Using equation of motion

s = ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2....(I)

Where, s = distance

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

Put the value into the equation (I)

s=0+\dfrac{1}{2}\times2\times2\times2

s= 4\ m

The velocity is equal to the displacement divided by the time.

v = \dfrac{d}{t}

Where, d = displacement

t = time

v = velocity

Put the value of d and t into the formula

v =\dfrac{4}{2}

v = 2\ m/s

Hence, The velocity and displacement are 2 m/s and 4 m.
