A car moves in circular path of radius 14m at a speed of 10m/s . Evaluate:
• Time taken to complete the circle
• Find the angular velocity

Answer:

GIVEN :

S=10m/s

r=14m

TO FIND :

t=?

SOL:

T=d/s

we know that s=10m/s

the circumferenence of circle

=distance=2 pi r

  = 2 multiply by 22/7 multiply by 14

 

=22 multiply by 4=88

  therefore d=88 m

 

" t=88/10

 a) t = 8.8sec

 

b)  Yes, the car is moving with a uniform acceleration b'coz the velocity keeps increasing at a constant rate although the speed is unchanging.
