Assume that there is a circular path.  The car is moving through.

Now take V as the velocity axis where V = 5 m/s

and the acceleration a= 5 m/s ^2

The radius of the path is r= 5m

Now we know that if we draw a tangent it will make 90°

As the acceleration is decreasing then it will make an angle of 45°

Hence the angle between  acceleration vector and velocity vector at  instant is​ 45+90= 135°
