So, distance travelled by car with speed 40km/h
= 40t km towards East
and distance travelled by car with 45km/h
= 45t West
As both are in opposite direction so the distance will be added
As, 40t + 45t = 510
or, 85t = 510
or, t = 510/85 = 6h
So time taken is 6 hours.
