A car moves with a speed of 20 km/h for 15 minutes and then with a speed of 35 km/h for the next 30 minutes. What is the total distance covered by the car?​

For the first part of journey,

Speed= 20km/h and time= 15 minutes=1/4 hour

Using speed,= distance/time

Distance=20×1/4 =5 km

For the second part of journey,

Speed= 35km/h and time 30 minutes= 1/2

Then distance= 35 *1/2= 17.5

So, total distance covered= 5+17.5=22 km/h
