avg speed= 40 + 25 + 30 / 3

avg speed = 95 / 3

avg speed = 31.6 km / h

T1= 1/2 hr ,. T2= 1hr. ,. T3=2hr

Distance = Speed× Time

D1= 30× 1/2 = 15km

D2 = 25× 1 = 25km

D3 = 40×2 = 80km

Total Distance Travelled = 15+25+80 = 120km

Total Time = 1/2+1+2 = 7/2hr

Average speed= Total distance/ Total time

Average Speed = 120/ (7/2) = 120×2/7
= 240/7 km/h

Or 34.28 km/h
