A car moves with a speed of 30km/h for half an hour, 25km/h for 1h and 40km/h fir 2h. Calculate the average speed of the car

Total distance travelled

30×1/2 + 25×1 + 40×2

=15+25+80 = 120km

Now,

Avg speed = total distance/total time

= 120/3.5 = 34.3 approx
