A car moves with a speed of 40 kilometr/hr for 5 minutes and then the speed of 60 km/hr for 5 minutes. Find the total distance covered by the car.​

∴ Distance = Speed = Distance/Time

ii. Speed =  60 km/hr

= 1 km/hr = 5/18 m/s

= 60 km/hr = 16.66 m/s

Time = 5 minutes or, 300 seconds

∴ Distance = Speed = Distance/Time

= 16.66 = Distance/300

= 4998 m = Distance

∴ Total Distance = (3333+4998)m

= 8331 m

or,

= 8.331 km
