Car's speed = 40 km/hr.

Time = 15 mins. = 0.25 hrs.

Distance = Speed × Time = (40 × 0.25) km = 10 km.

Car's speed = 60 km/hr.

Time = 15 mins. = 0.25 hrs.

Distance = Speed × Time = (60 × 0.25) km = 15 km.

So, Total distance travelled = (10 + 15) km = 25 km
