A car moves with a speed of 40 km/ h for 15 minutes and then with a speed of 60 km/h for the next 15 minutes. calculate the distance covered by the car.

distance = speed X time. 
15 min = 1/4 of 1 hour
40 X 1/4 = 10 km

60 X 1/4 = 15 km

15+10=25 km

1min=40/60km=2/3km=2/3*15=10km
second=1h=60km
1min=60/60=1km
15min=15*1=15km
total=25km
