A car moves with a speed of 40 km/hr for 15 minutes

Distance = speed x time = 40 x 15/60 = 10 km

and then
with a speed of 60 km/hr for the next 15 minutes

Distance = speed x time =60 x 15/60 =15km

Therefore the car travelled 25 km in 30 minutes.
I hope this will help you
