At first ,

Speed = 60km/h,
Time = 20min = 20/60 hrs = 1/3hrs,

Speed = Distance / Time,
Distance = Speed * Time,

=> Distance = 60*1/3 km = 20km..........(1)

At second,
speed = 80km /hr,
Time = 30min = 1/2hr,
Distance = Speed * Time,

=> Distance = 80*1/2 km = 40km .......(2)

The total distance travelled = (1)+(2)

=> 20+40 km,
=> 60km,

Therefore the total distance traveled = 60km,

Hope you understand !!

total speed=60+80=140km/hr
total time= 20+30=50min=
50/60=5/6hr
total speed×total time=total distance
140×5/6= total distance
700/6=total distance
117km=totai distance
