distance in 1st hour=60/60×60

=60km

distance in next 1/2 hrs=30/60×45

=45/2km

Total distance=60+45/2

=165/2

=82.5km

a car moves with a speed of 60 km/h for the first half hour .
we know, distance = speed × time.
here, speed = 60km/h and time = 0.5hr
so, distance = 60 × 0.5 = 30km

again car moves with a speed of 45km/h in the next half an hour.
here speed = 45km/h and time = 0.5 hr
so, distance = 45 × 5 = 22.5 km

hence, total distance covered by the car = 30km + 22.5 km = 52.5 km
