A car moves with speed 60 km/h for 1 hour in east direction and with same speed for 30 min in south direction.Find the displacement of car from initial position?

•Distance=speed×time

Speed1=60km/hr

t1=1 hr

•Displacement in East direction =60 kms

Speed2=60 km/hr

T2=30 mins

•Displacement in South direction=30 kms

By using Pythagoras theorm here

 \sqrt[2]{ {60}^{2} +  {30}^{2}  }

 \sqrt[2]{3600 + 900}

 \sqrt[2]{900(4 + 1)}

30 \sqrt{5 \:} km
