here towards east 10 m/s means towards z-axis =10i and towards north 10 m/s that means y-axis =10j time=5 seconds. change in velocity =vf-vi=10j-10i. so 10j-10i=√2×10 square. which is equal to 10√2m/s. so change in velocity =10√2
