u =72 km /h
= 20 m/s

v=0
s =100m

v^2-u^2= 2as
-u^2= 2×a×100(v=0)
- 20^2=200a
-400=200a
a=-2 m/s^2

If a car moving along a straight highway with speed of 72 km/h-1 is brought to a stop within distance 100 m as well as the retardation of the car will be

U =72 km /h= 20 m/s v=0,

s =100m,

v^2-u^2= 2as -u^2= 2×a×100(v=0) - 20^2=200a -400=200a a=-2 m/s^2.
