the brakes are applied.
(a) Find the acceleration, assuming it to be constant.
(b) Plot the graph of speed versus time.
(c) Using the graph. Find the distance covered by the car after the brakes are

v=u+at (first equation of motion)

Substituting the values

0=15+a×5

0=15+5a

−15=5a

=a

−3=a

Therefore acceleration is −3 m/s *2
