Speed = 12 m/s

u = 18 m

v = 0

a = v-u/t

a= v-u / D/s

a= 0-18 / 18/12

a= -18/ 3/2

a= -18×2/3

a= -12 m/s²

Answer:

4

Step-by-step explanation:

u = 12m/s ; s = 18m, v = 0

a = ? (a is negative as its retarding)

v² - u² = 2as

=> 0 - 144 = 2(-a)18

=> 144 = 36a

=> a = 4 m/s²
