A car moving due east covers 1km in 100 sec.Find it’s speed and velocity

Solution:-
Distance =1km=1000m
Time =100seconds

Since we know that,
$speed = \frac{distance}{time}$
$= > \frac{1000}{100} \\ = > 10m$
Hence,the speed of car is 10m/s.
Velocity will also be the same(I.e) 10m/s because the car is moving in specific direction.
