  • Car covers Distance (s) = 100km
  • Time (t) = 2hrs

  • Speed (v)

\color{green}\underline{\underline{\sf Formula \: Used-}}

\color{violet}\underline{\boxed{\sf Speed=\dfrac{Distance}{Time}}}

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

\implies{\sf v=\dfrac{100}{2}}

\color{red}\implies{\sf v=50\:km/h}

Convert it into m/s

\implies{\sf v=50×\dfrac{5}{18} }

\implies{\sf v= \dfrac{250}{18}}

\color{red}\implies{\sf v=13.8m/s}

Speed of car is \color{red}{\sf 50\:km/h\:or\:13.8\:m/s}

 \mathtt{ \huge{ \fbox{Solution :)}}}

Given ,

Distance (d) = 100 km

Time (t) = 2 hr

We know that ,

  \large{\mathtt{\fbox{Speed  \: (s)=  \frac{Distance  \: (d)}{Time \: (t)}  } }}

Thus ,

S = 100/2

S = 50 km/hr

Speed in terms of m/sec is :

S = (50 × 1000)/60 × 60

S = 50000/3600

S = 500/360

S = 1.38 m/s

Hence , the speed is 50 km/hr or 1.38 m/s
