Hi.

Here is your answer---

_________________

Given---

Distance(d) = 1.5 km.
                    = 1500 m                 [ Changing into m].

Time(t) = 150 seconds.

Using the Formula,

 Speed = Distance/Time
             = 1500/150
             = 10 m/s.

Since, the Car is moving Straight due East, thus Its speed is equal to the Velocity.
Thus, Velocity of the Car = 10 m/s.

Given,

Distance = 1.5km = 1500m (when changed in metre)

Time = 150 seconds

Using the formula,

Speed = Distance/Time

= 1500/150

= 10 m/s

And the car is moving straight due to east, thus the speed and velocity equal to each other...

So, velocity of the car is = 10m/s due east.
