Given data:-

  • A car moving P to Q with 30 Km/hr.
  • A car moving Q to R with 20Km/hr.

Solution:-

Let, distance between P to Q is 30km which cover by car in 1 hour. & distance between Q to R is 20km which cover by car in 1 hour.

Now, to find average speed of car between P to R, we use formula of speed:

—› Speed = distance/time

To find average speed

—› Average speed = total dostance/total time

—› Average speed = {30 + 20}/{1 + 1}

—› Average speed = 50/2

—› Average speed = 25 km/hr

Hence, average speed of car is 25 km/hr.
