Initial velocity of the car u=108 km/h
=108×1000/60×60
=108×5/18
=30m/s
Final velocity v =0
Mass m=1000kg
Time t=4s
According to newton's second law
F=ma
F=m(v-u) /t
=1000(0-30)/4
=-7500N
The negative sign indicates that the applied force is opposite to the direction of motion
