Initial velocity,u=60 km/hr=50/3 m/sec.

Final velocity,v=0

Stopping time=10 sec

By the 1st Eq. of Motion:

v=u+at => 0 = 50/3 + a (10)

a = -5/3 m/sec^2

By the 2nd Eq. of Motion:

s=ut+1/2at^2

=> s= 50/3×10 + 1/2 × (-5/3)(100)

=> s= 500/3 - 250/3

=> s= 250/3 m

Ans.=> Stopping Distance is 250/3 m or 83.33 m
