Given:

  • Intial velocity , u = 25 m/s

  • Final velocity , v = 0 m/s (Rest)

  • Time taken, t = 20 sec

To be Calculated:

Calculate the acceleration?

Formula used:

Acceleration = v - u / t

Solution:

Acceleration = initial velocity - Final velocity / time taken

= 0 - 25 / 20

= - 25 /20

= -5/4

= -1.25 m/s²

Hence, the acceleration is -1.25 m/s².

Given that:-

★Initial velocity = 25 m/s

★ Final velocity = 0 m/s

★ Time = 20 sec

★ Acceleration = ?

Now,

Acceleration = (Final velocity - Initial velocitiy) / Time

Acceleration = ( v -u ) / t

= ( 0 - 25) / 20

= -25 / 20

= -5 / 4

= -1.25 m/s²
