Given,

The mass of the car = 1000 kilograms

The amount of force = 500 Newton

The displacement = 49 metres

The initial velocity = 0 m/s

To find,

The time of acceleration.

Solution,

First of all, we have to calculate the value of acceleration, by using the following mathematical formula,

Force = Mass × Acceleration

500 = 1000 × Acceleration

Acceleration = 500/1000

Acceleration = 0.5 m/s²

Now,we have to calculate the value of final velocity,by using the following mathematical formula,

(Final velocity)² = (Initial velocity)² + 2×acceleration×displacement

(Final velocity)² = (0)² + 2 × 0.5 × 49

(Final velocity)² = 49

Final velocity = 7 m/s

Finally,we have to calculate the time of acceleration by using the following mathematical formula,

final velocity = initial velocity + acceleration×time

7 = 0 + 0.5 × time

time = 7/0.5

time = 14 seconds

Hence,the time for acceleration is 14 seconds.
