A car of mass 1000 kg is moving uniformly at 10m/s. If the engine of the car develops an extra linear momentum of 1000kg m/s, calculate the new velocity with which the car runs

old momentum is 10000 kg m/sec
extra momentum is 1000 kg m/sec
net momentum is 11000 kg m/sec
mass of car is1000 kg
momentum=m*v
v =11000/1000
v=11m/sec
