From conservation of momentum
v = mu / (M + m)
= (1000 kg × 30 m/s) / (9000 kg + 1000 kg)
= 3 m/s

∴ Speed of vehicles immediately after collision is 3 m/s

Answer:

Explanation:From conservation of momentum

v = mu / (M + m)

= (1000 kg × 30 m/s) / (9000 kg + 1000 kg)

= 3 m/s

∴ Speed of vehicles immediately after collision is 3 m/s
