A car of mass 1000kg is resting on a inclined plane making an a angle 30 degree to the horizontal . what is the weight of a car ?Also find horizontal and vertical components of the weight of a car . Take of 1cm cube

The weight of the car is as follows :

Normal weight × Cos Ф

Ф = 30°

Taking g = 10

1000 × 10 = 10000 N

10000 × Cos 30 = 8660.25 N

Tan = opposite / adjacent

Opposite = height

Horizontal = adjacent.

Tan 30 = 0.5774

Approximately : 0.58

58/100 = 29/50

The height is approximately 29cm and horizontal distance = 50 cm.
