hope it will help you:)

m=1000Kg

Vi=40*1000/3600

Vi=11.11ms^-1

Vf=0ms^-1

t=5s

using formula

Vf=Vi+at

0=11.11+a*5

-11.11=a*5

-11.11/5=a

a=-2.22

-2.22 shows deceleration

using formula

F=ma

F=1000*2.22

F=2222N

F=2.2KN

2.2KN is the answer of this question
