A car of mass 1000kg starts to move from rest and covers a distance of 100m by the application of a resultant force of 500N. Calculate it's acceleration. what is the time taken by it to move though this distance? also find velocity of car.
[ ans: 0.5m/s² , 20s, I 10m/s]

your answer..⬇️⬇️

Force :- 500N

Mass :-1000kg

Distance:- 100m

Uniform velocity :- 0m/s

i) we know that..F = ma

=> a = F/m

=> a = 500/1000

=> a = 0.5m/s²

ii) Now..by Newton's third law of motion..

v² = u²+2as

=> v² = 0 + 2×0.5×100

=> v² = 0+100

=> v = 10m/s

iii) by Newton's first law of motion...

at = v-u=>

t = v-u/a

=> t = 10-0/0.5

=> t = 20sec

so that..

acceleration :- 0.5m/s²

time taken :- 20sec

final velocity :- 10m/s

hope..this will help you...☺️☺️✌️
