Answer:

mass of car is100kg

mass of bus is 800kg

velocity is 36km per he

accelaration =final -initial velocity

u=0;v=36

a=v-u

36-0

36 km/hr

force for car = mass*acceleration

=100*36

=3600N

force for bus=m*a

=800*36

=28400N

Explanation:

This question cannot be solved without providing time or the distance required to stop both of them.

If given, let's assume that the given time =t

v = u + at ....(1)

For stopping them, v = 0 and u = 36 km/ hr

And u = 36 km/ hr

= 36 × 1000/3600 m/s

= 10 m/s if we are calculating in SI units.

By substituting in (1), we get

=> 0 = 10 +at

=> -10 = at

=> a = -10/t

As to is variable for now, let's keep it as it is.

For Car,

Force = mass × acceleration

= 100 × -10/t

= -1000/t .....(2)

For Bus,

Force = mass × acceleration

= 800 × -10/t

= -8000/t ......(3)

Here, negative sign indicated that the force is applied opposite to the motion.

If time so given, you can substitute it in (2), (3).

Hope it helps you.
