A car of mass 1200 kg initially at rest has been accelerated to speed of 8m/s in 16 meters. Average acceleration of car is ? m/s^2 and force is ? N.
A. 1.5 and 1500
B. 2.5 and 2400
C. 3.5 and 3500
D. 2 and 2400

Data: mass= 2kg, vi=0, vf=8m/s, S=16m, a=?, f=?
Solution:
a= (vf^2 - vi^2)/2S
a=(8^2 - 0) / 2(16)
a= 64/32 =32/16=16/8=4/2=2 m/s^2
F=ma=(1200)(2)=2400 N.
Right answer is D.

Answer:

a=4m/S square

f= 4800n

Explaination:

given:

m=1200kg

v=8m/s

d=16m

t= v/t= 2 sec

a = v-u/t

= 8-0/2

=4

F = ma

= 1200×4

=4800N

hence found
