A car of mass 1500 kg travels with a velocity of 100 km/h. How high should the car be lifted in the standard gravitational field to have a potential energy that equals its kinetic energy? (assume g=10 m/s2)

m=1500kg

v=100km/h= 27.8m/s

g=10m/s2

K.E=1/2MV^2

=1500*10000/2

=15000000/2

=7500000 J

P.E= mgh

75*10^5=15000*h

h=7500000/15000

height=500m
