Work = Change in Kinetic energy
= 0.5m(v² - u²)
= 0.5 × 15000 kg × [(0 m/s)² - (60 × 5/18 m/s)²]
= -2083.33 × 10³ Joules
= -2083.33 kJ
2083.33 kJ of Work should be done on the car in opposite direction of it’s motion.
