\underline{ \sf \large{Solution- }}

Here it is given that,

  • Mass (m) = 1500 kg
  • Initial velocity (u) = 10 m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 0 m/s
  • Time (t) = 5 seconds

➢ We have to find the initial and final momentum of the car.

We know that,

  • Momentum (p) = Mass × Velocity

Now,

For the initial momentum of car :

⟹ Initial momentum = Mass × initial velocity

⟹ Initial momentum = 1500 × 10

⟹ Initial momentum = 15000 kg.m/s

Now,

For the final momentum of car :

⟹ Final momentum = Mass × final velocity

⟹ Final momentum = 1500 × 0

⟹ Final momentum = 0 kg.m/s
