Given :-

  • Mass of car = 1800 kg
  • Velocity of the car = 60 km/h

To find :-

  • Momentum = ?

Solution :-

Firstly converting 60 km/h → m/s

To convert we have to multiply with 5/18

→ 60 × 5/18

→ 300/18

16.66 m/s

Finding momentum using

p = m × v

Where

  • p → momentum = ?
  • m → mass = 1800 kg
  • v → velocity = 16.66 m/s

Substituting the values we have

→ p = 1800 × 300/18

→ p = 100 × 300

→ p = 30000 pascal (pa)

Hence , momentum of the car = 30 × 10³ pa.
