A car of mass 2400kg moving with a velocity of 20ms-1 is stopped in 10s on applying brakes. calculate the negative acceleration and the resultant force

Acceleration = (v - u) / t
= (0 - 240) / 10
= -24 m/s^2
It’s negative acceleration is 24 m/s^2

Force = ma
= 2400kg × 24 m/s^2
= 57.6 kN
